What you'll do
Your responsibilities will include the development and continuation of mid- and longe-term mine plans for new/operating quarries and underground mines for gypsum, anhydrite and limestone deposits in Germany and abroad, including the selection of mining method, equipment, transport and preparation solutions
The continuous updating and optimisation of existing quarries and mines will be carried out by you using digital geological and mine planning tools to generate pit designs, sequences, and schedules across various time horizons
Using your expertise, you will train mining staff in the regions and communicate the technical and organisational guidelines of the CCRM
Providing specialist expertise to support local branches in preparing approval documentation and accompanying approval procedures is an integral part of this role
You will independently manage and oversee the projects under your responsibility, ensuring compliance with the requirements of the various locations as well as those of the CCRM
Who you are
You possess a degree in Geosciences, Mining Engineering, Mineral Engineering or a related discipline
An advanced three-dimensional imagination and a solid understanding of geological fundamentals form the basis of your mining planning
Experience in the technical planning and design of mining operations has already been gained and coordinating subcontractors – particularly local engineering offices – comes with ease
Familiarity with CAD/GIS and mining applications for deposit modelling and mine planning is part of your daily work
Your profile is rounded off by proficient English skills and additional foreign languages such as Spanish or French would be an advantage
