What you'll do
- Develop and implement Unified Namespace (UNS) architectures to standardise data flow and ensure robust data governance across industrial systems
- Design, customise and maintain user-friendly HMI and SCADA systems using Ignition that are tailored to meet specific operational requirements
- You will collaborate with automation engineers to integrate Ignition with PLC systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and efficient data exchange
- Create dynamic, real-time dashboards and visualisations in Ignition to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making
- You will apply DevOps practices, including version control, CI/CD pipelines and system monitoring, to ensure that development and deployment processes are scalable, secure and efficient
Who you are
- You possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
- You have extensive experience in industrial automation and are an expert in Ignition, HMI/SCADA systems and DevOps methodologies
- Proficiency in Ignition modules (e.g. Perspective, Vision, Edge), UNS development, dynamic dashboards, PLC programming and database management is required
- A significant advantage would be held by individuals with certifications such as Ignition Core or Gold Certification, or DevOps-related qualifications
- You are a problem solver with strong analytical and project management skills, who is fluent in English and who has additional language (e.g. German) proficiency and you thrive in collaborative environments
