What you'll do

• Lead Global Implementation of WMS for Knauf Group
• Develop holistic intra-logistic concepts, capable to serve multiple requirements from business, IT and other functions (e.g. sustainability, scalability)
• Define set-up/layout options for intra-logistics infrastructure and ensure efficient space utilization
• Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
• Leverage & integrate new technologies & automation (e.g.AGVs) to significantly improvement intra-logistics performance
• Interact with business units, Engineering and IT to enhance intra-logistics, and therefore supply chain performance
• Assess cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
• Maintain standards of health, safety and security
• Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided

Who you are

• Proven 7–10 years of relevant working experience
• Experience Managing a team as a Supply chain or Logistics Manager
• Business-oriented degree such as economics, industrial engineering or any other degree related to supply chain and logistics fields
• Expertise in Transport management procedures and best practices with Strong knowledge of Logistics Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Ability to Lead, Manage Staff and work independently handling multiple projects
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Fluent in English and Willingness to travel
