We're looking for you in Iphofen or Riga - both locations are possible. 

Your Tasks

• In this position you will be responsible as Category Manager (m/f/d) for procurement and risk management in the field of energy.
• In doing so, you will continuously develop the purchasing strategy in coordination with the various stakeholders.
• You will track approved hedging strategies for power and gas and provide relevant reports to internal stakeholders.
• You perform risk analyses for our various markets, analyze country-specific features and derive action plans. You negotiate local supply contracts with the respective countries.
• Keep track of current market trends and ensure high, global data quality that allows us to predict energy costs.
• Last but not least, you will identify energy-saving potential in the various regions and implement suitable measures for this purpose.

Your Profile

• You have a degree in energy management, energy procurement, business administration or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing in an international environment and sound knowledge of procurement methods and concepts, ideally in energy procurement.
• Business fluent English, other languages are an advantage.
• Strategic competence and strong negotiation skills. Knowledge of the relevant energy markets and suppliers is a must.
• Very good skills in analytical thinking, communication, intercultural cooperation. You are also authentic, goal-oriented, an independent team player and networker.
• Confident use of MS Office, SAP and BI.
