Supply Chain Network Optimization Analyst (m/w/d)

What you'll do
- Lead and develop operating models & business cases and initiatives to lower CO2 footprint supply chain costs and improve service level
- Interact with business units as key contact person for supply chain network analytics and document key decisions, data sources, assumptions, and identified opportunities
- Acquire medium- or long-term demand forecasts for all goods and translate those forecasts into a network supply plan
- Analyze data to determine areas for performance improvement (customer data, transport & logistics data)
- Execute network optimization studies and creation/evaluation of simulations and result scenarios
- Support to design network for greenfield-projects or new investments and Assist in design and maintenance of supply chain network models
Who you are
- 3-5 years experience in network design or equivalent relevant experience in supply chain management
- Track-record in network management/operations research, ideally in the manufacturing industry
- Ability to analyze and present performance across the entire network in a meaningful way
- Must be able to communicate requirements/outputs of the analytics to senior stakeholders
- Attention to detail and problem-solving with good understanding of ERP environment
- Business-oriented degree such as economics, industrial engineering or any other degree related to supply chain and logistics fields
- Fluent in English – German is a plus
- Willingness to travel
